The office is headed by Andrés Otero, who has over 8 years of experience in the Risk Management Consulting Industry. Otero supported governments, multilateral organizations and private companies in their efforts to fight corruption. He has held a number of positions, both in Colombia and abroad, with the Colombian government, the European Union and the Inter-American Development Bank, where he focused on anti-corruption initiatives. Besides this, he is a formerly partner of Corporate Investigations, a boutique risk consulting in Bogota.
On the operational side, Kroll counts on Fraud Investigator expert Ernesto Carrasco, who brings extensive experience in the public and pivate sectors. Carrasco was the Head of Special Investigations in the Colombian government, where he investigated delicate cases of corruption. He was also the National Director at the General Attorneys Office (3rd post in hierarchy), where he dealt with sensitive drug trafficking, money laundering and government corruption investigations.
